摘要
Cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) power factor correction (PFC) converter is an attractive approach to achieve high efficiency and high-power density in various applications. However, severe common-mode (CM) noise might be caused by the high dv/dt through parasitic capacitances and multiple floating dc links in the circuit. In this paper, a novel single-phase single inductor-based three-level totem-pole CHB PFC converter is proposed. By deriving the equivalent CM circuit model, it is found that the proposed converter eliminates the CM noise through parasitic capacitances and multiple dc links without the impedance balancing dependency. Finally, experimental prototype is developed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed topology.
