Aiming at the problems that the traditional arc suppression coil cannot achieve active current compensation and the active arc suppression device (ASD) rarely consider the impact of the isolation transformer impedance, an active ASD based on the equivalent LCL filter is proposed. Considering the influence of the leakage reactance of the isolation transformer, an equivalent model of the ASD and asymmetric distribution network is obtained, and an active arc suppression method with dual-loop voltage control is proposed. Then, based on the block diagram of the double closed-loop control structure of the proposed method, the parameters of the inner and outer loop controllers are designed respectively. The simulation results show that the method can achieve rapid and high-precision suppression of the fault current without measuring the capacitive current of the distribution network, which is not affected by the asymmetry of line-to-ground parameters and fault resistance.
