摘要
In power systems with high penetration of renewables and power electronics interfaces, stability issues, particularly transient instability, can arise. While previous research has primarily focused on the transient stability of single types of grid converters, there is a lack of study on the interactions between different types of converters, such as grid-forming and grid-following converters. Additionally, the stabilizing control strategy for hybrid types of converters is not fully explored. This paper addresses the challenges associated with hybrid types of grid converters and their impact on transient stability. Through analysis, a stability enhancement control strategy is proposed specifically for the grid-forming converter, aiming to improve the overall system stability. Theoretical analysis and simulation results are provided to validate the proposed control strategy and demonstrate its effectiveness in enhancing system stability.
