摘要
Electric machine emulators are now becoming a promising method to test the electric machines and corresponding drive systems for the flexibility and high-efficiency. Typically, the emulator is controlled by closed-loop current control (CLCC), which may conflict with the current control loop implemented by the drive converter of the electric machine. Thus, the dynamic performance of the electric machine emulator will be compromised, and the stability margin of the whole testing system will be narrowed. In this paper, a voltage-response model of the electric machine is built to remove the current control loop implemented by the emulating converter. In this situation, the above-mentioned conflict no longer exists. Both the models of the target electric machine and the coupling filters are included to avoid the differential terms. With the proposed voltage-response model of the target motor, the stability margin can be guaranteed, and better dynamic performance can be achieved because the CLCC is removed. Theoretical validations and simulations are carried out to illustrate the effectiveness and advancement of the proposed method.
