摘要
As one of green renewable energy sources, the solar energy has an enormous developing potentiality to drive many devices. In order to meet the demands of boosting of solar photovoltaic generation, a novel three-level (TL) LCC resonant converter with voltage multiplier is proposed in this paper. The converter is composed of Neutral Point Clamped (NPC) inverter, LCC resonant tank and Cockcroft–Walton (CW) voltage multiplier. Furthermore, an RC equivalent circuit model that can simplify the design and analysis of the converter is proposed. And by applying an NPC inverter to the primary side, the voltage stress of the switches is half of the input voltage and TL voltage is supplied to the post-stage circuit. Besides, Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) of switches can be used to minimize the switching losses. Finally, according to the simulation platform and experimental prototype, it can be shown that the practical voltage gain is close to the theoretical design gain and the converter has good boosting performance.
