摘要
Growth in the proportion of renewable energy generation is prone to various problems due to power imbalance between supply and demand, this paper proposes a demand-side management model to overcome power imbalance and instability issues with a fractional-order load, the fractional-order load contain resistive and reactance components, which can directly realize active and reactive power compensation, so that the critical load voltage can be regulated by active power control and the power factor can be improved by reactive power control. The fractional-order load is in series with the critical load to form a fractional-order smart load, which can reduce energy storage by transferring fluctuating energy to other loads. The topology and control method for the fractional-order smart load are provided. Simulation and experiments verified the function of the fractional-order smart load.
