A flux-controlled cubic memristor circuit is developed and a van der Pol oscillator is implemented based on the inherent non-linear properties of this memristor. Meanwhile, a linear feedback controller is designed to synchronize two chaotic circuits. The range of the controller gain for synchronization is derived. Both results of simulations and experiments validate the proposed van der Pol oscillation circuit and the chaos synchronization method.
