摘要
To address the issues associated with the power drop between the segmented transmitter of electric vehicle dynamic wireless power transfer (EV-DWPT) systems, this paper proposes a new double solenoid magnetic coupling structure based on segmented transmitters. The proposed coupling structure adopts the solenoid spiral winding coil, which can effectively improve the performance in both horizontal and vertical pad misalignment. The optimized design was conducted through both finite element simulation and measurement of the magnetic coupling structure. The coupling structure with 600 mm × 250 mm at the transmitting side and 300 mm × 300 mm rectangular coil compatible with the existing DWPT systems at the receiving side were built. The experimental results clearly show that the proposed magnetic coupling structure can effectively reduce the power drop problem of EV-DWPT system in the intermediate zone between the segmented transmitters.
