摘要
Crosstalk between cables due to near-field coupling can easily lead to performance decline or even failure of the ship's communication system. In this paper, the modeling and prediction of cable crosstalk are firstly reviewed, and a proposed prediction model of four-cable five-conductor cross-talk is developed, which considers the common-to-differential mode (CDM) conversion and its dominant parasitic. Then the proposed model is experimentally validated in a four-cable five-conductor system. Finally, with the proposed model, several strategies are proposed to suppress the crosstalk.
