摘要
In inductive power transfer systems, misalignment will affect the power transmission. In this paper, a reconfigurable topology is proposed to provide consistent output power over a wide misalignment range. The proposed topology switches the switching frequency to change the equivalent compensation circuit. Then, two intersecting power vs. coupling coefficient curves for different equivalent topologies are constructed. The misalignment range can be extended with the limited power variation by changing the switching frequency at curve intersections. With this topology, output power changes by only 10% over a coupling coefficient range from 0.16 to 0.35, and efficiency at low coupling can be improved. This means the proposed topology is more adaptive for misalignment. A 450 W prototype has been prepared to verify the topology. Efficiency ranges from 87.3% to 90.6% over a coupling coefficient range from 0.16 to 0.35.
