Conducted electromagnetic interference(EMI) in power converters is becoming more and more severe with growing power density and switching frequency. This article presents a novel differential-mode(DM) noise suppression method based on predictive pulsed compensation(PPC), which is simple to implement. Compared with traditional passive EMI filters and active EMI filters, the proposed method has the advantages of small size and low cost. The method has been verified by simulations and experiments.
