To solve the inertia reduction problem in power systems with a large percent of converters accesses, grid-forming (GFM) converters have been proposed. However, the stability of the system deteriorates when multiple GFM converters are connected in parallel, as opposed to the separate one. For the case of multiple GFM converters connected in parallel at the same point, this paper developed a small-signal model, performed a stability analysis. And this paper also proposes an oscillation suppression method suitable for this scenario.
