摘要
This article proposes a quasi-two-stage boost-LLC (QBoost-LLC) converter as a means of enhancing the performance of the conventional LLC resonant converter solution across a broad voltage range. In regard to the proposed QBoost-LLC converter, the gain can be adjusted by the front-end circuit and the LLC can operate under voltage matching conditions. The front-end circuit is a boost converter, with only a portion of the transmission power traversing the circuit. This could alleviate the burden of achieving zero-voltage switching (ZVS) of the front-end circuit. In comparison with the conventional two-stage boost-LLC converter configuration, the associated loss within the boost circuit can be diminished. Finally, the efficacy of the proposed QBoost-LLC is validated through the presentation of experimental findings derived from an 800 W prototype.
