摘要
Traditional proportional-integral (PI) current controller for induction motors has good control performance in most cases. Thus, it’s widely used in electric drives. Nonetheless, the PI current controller's performance will worsen and may even become unstable when the sampling-to-fundamental frequency ratios are low. The main reason is the crossing-coupling between d-axis and q-axis current. In this paper, the model of the induction motor is established with complex vectors, and the time delay as well as the D/A characteristic is considered. With the plant model, the crossing-coupling at low sampling-to-fundamental frequency ratios can be seen. A dead-beat current control scheme in unified complex vector is proposed to compensate the effect of crossing-coupling while improving the dynamic performance. MATLAB/SIMULINK is used to confirm the accuracy and validity of the suggested dead-beat current control strategy.
